Randy Meyer Racing is proud to announce the return of GUNK®, a leading engine cleaner and degreaser brand under the B’laster umbrella, as a title sponsor for the 2025 season and beyond. The partnership kicks off with the debut of a refreshed GUNK®-branded Top Alcohol Dragster livery at one of the most electrifying events on the NHRA tour — the 4-Wide Nationals held at zMAX Dragway in Charlotte, North Carolina, driven by Matt Cummings, followed by Megan Meyer competing in the GUNK® nitro dragster at the Cecil County Dragway Top Alcohol Dragster Shootout.

The iconic orange, blue, and white GUNK® livery will highlight the brand’s legendary engine degreaser, featuring a bold, high-impact design built around the tagline “We Like It Dirty.” This refreshed look won’t just turn heads at Charlotte — it will be showcased at most of the team’s thrilling races this season.

“Megan and the Randy Meyer Racing Team are the epitome of what the GUNK brand stands for; Tough & Trusted, and not afraid to get a little dirty,” said Director of Marketing, Matt Bender. “We have had a very successful partnership with this team for the last few years, and we are excited to continue turning heads with them in the NHRA series.”

Multi-time NHRA Top Alcohol Dragster winner Matt Cummings will suit up to pilot the nitro-injected machine backed by GUNK® for the Randy Meyer Racing Team, hoping to drive the team to return to the winner’s circle in front of a packed house of fans. The team has had an outstanding history at this track, winning the 4-Wide Nationals 5 times, and coming close with a runner-up finish in 2024. Two-time NHRA World Champion, and Randy’s oldest daughter, Megan Meyer, was the first to set the winning streak for the team in 2016 before her retirement from NHRA competition after the 2020 season.

Following the Charlotte debut, Megan will head to Cecil County Dragway in Maryland to compete in a headline event during the Strange Engineering Street Car Shootout, which features a $15,000 Top Alcohol Dragster Shootout. She’ll be driving the GUNK®-backed nitro dragster, proudly representing one of the most trusted names in automotive maintenance.

With one of the largest purses ever offered for the class outside of the NHRA national circuit, the event has drawn a highly competitive field — and Megan is ready to make her mark.

“Having GUNK back on board is a huge honor,” said Megan. “They’re not only a staple in the automotive world but have also been one of my biggest supporters throughout my racing career. We have trusted their brake cleaner and engine degreasers to keep our cars and pit area clean and efficient for almost 20 years. Their products are top-tier, and the brand aligns perfectly with the hard-working, get-it-done mindset we bring to the track.”

“I’m excited to be part of this shootout — it’s rare to see a Top Alcohol Dragster event like this outside of the national tour, and I love that it’s designed to highlight the class with big payouts and big performances. This will be my first time racing against those I used to compete with in the NHRA and I’m excited to show them that this mama has still got it,” Megan said.

Randy Meyer Racing will continue to collaborate with GUNK throughout the season to produce engaging content, showcase product performance both at the track and in daily life, and highlight the real-world results of using GUNK’s line of professional-grade cleaning products on race cars, tow rigs, and personal vehicles alike.

“We’ve been working with the GUNK team for a long time, and we’re very happy to keep building on this relationship,” said team owner Randy Meyer. “It’s more than just a logo on the car — it’s about authentic brand integration and showing people that the products we promote to win races are the same ones they can use every day in the garage or shop. As I always say, you’re only as strong as your weakest link — and in racing, dirty or greasy parts and tools will slow you down. And in our pits we strive on being lean, clean, and efficient.”

Fans can expect behind-the-scenes videos, product demos, and exclusive content from the team this season, and at Megan’s race, with GUNK products playing a central role in keeping the team’s equipment spotless and running at peak performance.
