Rachel Meyer-Curl

Randy Meyer's youngest daughter, Rachel Meyer, was more than eager to follow in her father's footsteps and pursue her fast dreams of driving — and tuning — a race car. At just 8 years of age, Rachel got behind the wheel of a Junior Dragster and never looked back. After racing for 10 years, Rachel competed in approximately 100 race events with her Junior Dragster and earned multiple event wins and runner-ups.

In 2012 Rachel graduated from the Junior Dragster and stepped up to the Super Comp class. In the summer of 2016, Rachel earned her Top Alcohol Dragster license and started competing on a part-time NHRA schedule, which consisted of, on average, 5 regional events and 1–3 national events a year.

2020 marked Rachel's first Central Regional Championship with two wins and one runner-up, and she set a new personal record of 285.53 MPH in the quarter-mile, only tenths off of the class record.

In 2021, Rachel competed in a full NHRA tour of 16 races to win both the Central Region Championship and the National Championship in her NTK Sensors Top Alcohol Dragster, winning 7 of the events.

When Rachel is not spending her weekend driving the Top Alcohol Dragster, you can find her at her home track, Mo-Kan Dragway, racing her Super Comp dragster and/or S10 truck in their bracket classes. Next time you come out to an NHRA event, don't be surprised when you see Rachel pulling double duty as a driver and clutch specialist.
